16. Hsiao-Ron Cheng

Hsiao-Ron Cheng is an illustrator based in Taiwan with a focus on editorial design and graphic art. Her work is depicted in delicate fine lines – almost wispy – of botanicals and portraits in light pastels.

17. Anne Yvonne Gilbert

Anne Yvonne Gilbert is an illustrator based in London. She creates portrayals of real or imagined worlds that are rich, vivid and classic – almost reminiscent of children’s fairy tales. The intricacy of her work comes from a keen attention to detail and proportion.

18. Tara Dougans

Tara Dougans is an artist based in Berlin, Germany. If you’ve heard of the words “animated editorial” – she has pioneered it… merging the two edges of the spectrum: static art and motion. Her work (mostly in fashion) may seem like the usual albeit extraordinary piece but if you stare long enough, you’ll see subtle animation in the just the right place.

19. Teagan White

Teagan White is a designer and illustrator currently based in Saint Paul, MN, USA.  She specializes in illustrations, drawings and typography specifically on elaborate often obsessive depictions of wildlife as well as word art. She routinely utilizes minimal colour palettes instead devoting much of the attention on detail and arrangements of several elements.

20. Yuko Shimizu

Yuko Shimizu is a Japanese illustrator based in New York City who has garnered multiple awards throughout her successful career. Her focus used to be on advertising and marketing before she shifted to illustration. Not only is she a great business woman, her work is scintillating and often thought provoking.
